Packard Bell EasyNote NS laptop unveiled

Packard Bell have unveiled their new laptop, the EasyNote NS.

According to the laptop’s manufacturers, the 14 inch NS is aimed at those who love social networking, and will include  a ‘one-touch’ button which allows users to link to three of their favourite social networking sites at the same time.

In addition to this, the device will be equipped with a 1.3 mega pixel webcam and integrated microphone for more traditional web chatting.

The EasyNote NS weighs 2.3kg and features a battery with a life of up to 4 hours of continuous usage per full charge. Other features include two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port and available options of 4GB of RAM, 750Gb of storage and Blu-ray disc player.

A maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity are powered by a 2nd generation Sandy Bridge processor – either the Intel Core i5 or I7.

The device is priced provisionally at £465 and is available in three finishes; ebony black, garnet red or moonstone white. Packard Bell will be hoping that the ‘rounded industrial design’ of the device will make it popular with the more style conscious laptop consumer.
