LG G Slate T Mobile LG Honeycomb tablet to be launched on T Mobile at laptopshop.co.ukT-Mobile will carry LG’s G-slate tablet when it is released in the UK this quarter.

The G-Slate will run Google’s Android 3.0 – or Honeycomb – and will be one of the first tablets to do so.

The 3D capabilities of the G-Slate have been causing some substantial buzz around the product, but LG have kept their cards close to their chest regarding which specific 3D technology they intend to run on the device. They also made no announcement on whether 3D glasses will be included in the bundle or not

A 1GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra chip will give the device the required muscularity to run 3D content; it will also pack 32GB of storage.

The slate will feature an 8.9 inch, 1280 x 720 resolution screen as well as a camera able to record 3D HD content. Add to this, full Flash support, HDMI output and a 5 mega-pixel camera and you have an impressive looking bit of kit.

As of yet there is no set release date for the G-Slate, although rumblings from LG hint that it will drop in the first quarter of 2011. We can expect more information to be released at the Mobile World Congress in February.
