Kno tablets delayed
Consumers who brought the Kno tablet last year are still waiting to receive their new device due to delays.
The 14-inch tablets, which run on Kno’s own Linux-based operating system, were due to ship on December 21.
Kno acknowledged the delay in a statement given to Engadget but refused to say what was causing it.
The statement read: “Things at Kno are going well. However, as you noted below, there has been a shipment delay. As soon as Kno has new information, we will share that with customers.”
The tablets are designed to be to-scale e-textbooks for students and academics but also support web browsing and media playback.
They also have a NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and were recently tested by a Lego robot, according to reports on tech sites.
