DAP launch two tough tablets

DAP M8930 /Windows For DevicesDAP Technologies has unveiled two new rugged tablets running on Windows CE version 6.0.

The DAP M8930 has a seven-inch touchscreen and the DAP M8940 has a 6-inch touchscreen and 64-key QWERTY keyboard – both have technology to enhance the screens viewability in light conditions.

The devices also have a Marvell PXA-300 624 MHz processor, 123MB of SDRAM and a 512MB Solid State Drive and support for up to 16 GB with a MicroSD card.

They support 3G and Bluetooth connectivity, have a three-megapixel cameras and 1D laser scanners.

DAP Technologies says the tablets will work in extreme temperatures and challenging conditions; and survive most incidents including drops from up to four-feet and chemical spills.

They’re sealed to IP67 standards, are dust and water proof and come with a two-year warranty.
