Androcell concept bag /Yanko DesignA new concept bag is promising to act as a backpack and exchange, store, create and display digital data.

The Androcell backpack was designed by Karan Singh Gandhi and is being promoted on the website Yanko Design.

The backpack is fully recyclable and is made up of interactive e-paper that allows owners to customise the appearance of the bag using a touchscreen on its strap.

Owners will be able to use the touchscreen or a number of what look to be buttons on the bag’s other strap to give the bag instructions.

These instructions can involve browsing and exchanging files, or watching and listening to them – the latter by using the backpack’s speakers.

A USB port means you can upload any files,  from work documents to films and music.

And the concept bags uses do not end there. It will also give off a safety light if worn in the dark and has a solar panel so that it can be charged off the sun’s rays.

Yanko Design says: “The materials used are innovative and organic. At the end of its lifecycle, Androcell leaves behind technical nutrients and biodegradable waste.”
