As 2010 draws to a close, we look back over a fantastic twelve months at Digital Window, highlighting some of the key successes throughout the year.
Kevin Edwards appointed IAB AMC Chair – In early February, Digital Window’s Strategy Director, Kevin Edwards stepped into the spotlight when the IAB AMC announced his appointment as their new Council Chairman. During his tenure the Council improved means of communication through the launch of the AMC’s blog and Twitter account; featuring agendas and minutes, the blog also acts as the central repository for all the codes of conduct, wider industry updates and guest posts. The need to self-regulate remained at the heart of the Council with initiatives launched for voucher codes, downloadable software and retargeting technology.
buy.at Acquisition – On the 1st of March, Digital Window announced the acquisition of competitor network buy.at, creating the largest performance marketing network in the UK. This partnership continues to go from strength to strength, building upon the high levels of service and technology that clients have come to expect.

The affair began with presentations from market-leading experts followed by afternoon tea and informal networking with editors and journalists from key industry publications. With a focus on the future of digital, the day was one to remember as every attendee took home a brand new Apple iPad.

Since inception, the affiliate programme has seen a huge level of engagement from affiliates and continues to demonstrate rapid growth.
MasterTag Release – In an effort to align ourselves with European partner zanox, Affiliate Window announced their new MasterTag solution in early December. MasterTag allows advertisers to integrate with multiple third party applications without the need to apply development resource. It’s a simple, one tag solution, providing increased flexibility and introducing a range of new opportunities for advertisers.
